Message I don't think you can deduce the amount of lift by the coefficient of drag. First of all, you can create drag without creating any lift. So you can have any amount of drag, no matter how much or how little, and it doesn't mean that any corresponding amount of lift will be created.

If you want to create lift, you'll need a wing. Bernoulli's priniciple states that the thicker the wing, the more lift that will be created. But that thicker wing will also create more drag. So you can't say that a lower CoD means that it will make lift, since often times the opposite is the case. In the end, there's not necessarily a direct relation between CoD and lift.
